Tom’s Board Award
In grateful appreciation for his dedicated service as a member of the PCTGA Board of Directors, Tom Balthaser (on left) was presented with a plaque by 2011 President Glenn Beers.
Glenn’s Presidents Award
2012 PCTGA President Melissa Holby (on left) presented Glenn Beers with an award to honor his leadership, service and dedication to PCTGA as its President in 2011.

Jim Campbell, also known to many as “the Farm Show guy,” gave everyone an update on this year’s Farm Show and PCTGA’s involvement before handing out the awards for Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.
   
Farm Show Champion Trees
Grand Champion - Paul & Sharon Shealer
A gorgeous Fraser Fir entered by Paul & Sharon Shealer of Evergreen Acres Tree Farm in Schuylkill County took the Grand Champion title at the 2012 PA Farm Show. 2011 PCTGA President Glenn Beers and Secretary Jim Campbell presented the Shealers with a plaque at the Winter Meeting.
Reserve Grand Champion - Ed & Nancy Campbell
A beautiful Concolor Fir entered by Ed & Nancy Campbell of Heritage Acres Evergreens in Columbia County took the Reserve Grand Champion title at the 2012 PA Farm Show. 2011 PCTGA President Glenn Beers and Secretary Jim Campbell presented the Campbells with a plaque at the Winter Meeting.

Congratulations to the winners in the undecorated wreath competition! From left to right the winners are: 1st place - Gary Hague of Hague's Christmas Trees, Honorable Mention - Larry Snyder of Mahantongo Valley Farms, 2nd place - David Krutsch of Chapel Hill Tree Farm, and 3rd place - Melissa Holby of Berkey's Nursery.
